Scared of An Orange Airbrush Spray Tan?

I am sharing a few tips on how to avoid the “orange tint” that so many people are afraid of when booking a spray tan.  Fear no more…if you follow these tips you can have a beautiful natural looking bronze!

Why you should fall in love with Sunless Airbrush Tanning

The following 5 facts about skin cancer will provide you with knowledge on how to keep your skin healthy, beautiful and youthful looking!

1.  Skin cancer affects more men than women.  Despite the higher rates in men, melanoma is the most frequent cancer of all cancers in women aged 25-29, probably because of ultraviolet tanning!

2.  Geography and race play a role in rates of skin cancer.  Melanoma is less common in African-Americans, Asians and Latinos, yet these populations experience more deaths because their skin cancers are detected far later in the disease process.

3.  Australians develop more cancers on the right side of the body, while Americans develop more on the left side of the body.  It all has to do with added sun exposure from driving!

4.  Temperatures do not increase sun exposure.  A light coverage is recommended no matter what the temp outside is and it is most important to remember to reapply frequently!

5.  Self-tanning and airbrush spray tanning do not provide protection from the sun.   If you haven’t tried airbrush tanning in a while give it a shot as formulations have improved and the funky odor and fabric staining has been virtually eliminated.

Remember to protect your skin with sunblock, get yearly full-body skin care checks, and invest in an airbrush spray tan whenever  you want that bronzed glow!

In a study published in the journal Archives of Dermatology, nearly 40 percent of  women ages 18-30 said their mom introduced them to indoor tanning (which can increase the risk of skin cancer by 74%!)

These same young women started tanning two years earlier than other fake bakers, and where five times more likely to be “heavy tanners” (logging 25 or more appointments a year) as college students.
